Rules and Regulations
To maintain a professional, safe, and disciplined environment, all students of Rajib Gandhi Nursing Training School must strictly adhere to the following rules and regulations.
Failure to comply with these guidelines will lead to disciplinary action, which may include the withdrawal of hostel facilities or other penalties. We believe in creating a "home away from home" while maintaining the highest standards of professional nursing education.
1. Hostel And Accommodation Rules

Residential Mandate All students must be residential and stay in the Hostel located in the school campus (or other designated place).

Room Responsibility Students are responsible for the care of furniture, cleanliness of their own rooms, and ensuring rooms are properly locked with keys safely kept when leaving.

Shared Spaces Care of others is essential. Every student should take responsibility for helping to keep the common room, bathrooms, toilets, and washrooms clean.

Electricity And Appliances While leaving rooms, students must ensure all lights and fans are switched off. No cooler is allowed in the room.

Dining Rules All meals must be taken in the dining room at proper timings. No one is allowed to take away food, dishes, glasses, and furniture outside the dining room. Fooding charge is free.

Safety of Valuables Students are urged to keep valuables and jewellery at home. The authority will not be responsible for any damage or loss of such items.

Night Shift Consideration Day shift students must be considerate of the night shift students. Sleeping hours for night shift are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
2. Academic & Clinical Guidelines

Punctuality And Attendance Students must be punctual. Missing classes without reason and written permission from the Class Teacher and Principal is not allowed.

Clinical Timings Students are not allowed to arrange their timing for clinical practice on their own. Missed time due to absence requires double practice.

Library Usage Students must attend the library whenever they are not in the clinical area. Using the library facility requires signing the provided book.

Study Tours And Liability In pursuance of educational study tours, the School Management shall in no way be liable for any physical or other damages caused to students outside school premises.

Professional Focus Nobody is allowed to engage or participate in any other business during this course. Students should take initiative for leadership in professional and social activities.

Hospital Visits Visiting the hospital during off-duty is forbidden unless called from the ward. Students must go to the hospital in uniform only.
3. Leave, Outing And Visitor Policies

Visitor Policy Visitors are not allowed in the hospital or hostel rooms. Students can meet approved visitors twice a week (Saturdays and Sundays, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.) in the visiting room only.

Outing And Register When leaving the hostel on a day off or weekend, students must sign the register with the correct time of departure and return. Signing for anyone else is strictly prohibited.

Leave Permission Students must seek permission from the Principal before leaving for outstation. Proceeding on leave is allowed only with a guardian. Return requires the guardian's signature.

Time Schedule And Exams Students must return from their leave within the scheduled time. If leave exceeds WBNC recommendations, students will not be allowed to appear in the Council Examination.

Sickness Reporting If a student is sick while off duty, she must report to the warden on duty (even at night). Sickness while on leave must be informed to the school authority in writing.

Communication Students are not allowed to make any direct telephone contact without permission.

Vacation Vacations will be granted as per the regulations of the Nursing Council, W.B.N.C.
4. Uniform, Fees And General Discipline

Uniform And Grooming Students are responsible for their uniforms. Partial uniform is not allowed. Jewellery (like earrings) is prohibited with the uniform. Fingernails should not be painted.

Tuition Fees Tuition fees must be paid every month between the 1st and 5th. Late fees will be charged as per the details provided in the Fees Annexure.

Annual And Exam Dues Fees should be deposited before the start of the new session each year. Each student is responsible for paying all examination fees and other dues on time.

Anti-Ragging Ragging is strictly prohibited. Anyone found guilty will be severely punished. Contact numbers for the anti-ragging committee are available at the hostel and school.

Documents And Materials All authentic documents must be submitted. Book lists, stationeries, and hostel materials will be provided later (Cost depends on Market Price/MRP).

Refund Policy School fees and Tuition fees once paid are strictly non-refundable.
